The waterproof fabric is excellent for very wet surroundings: active play and outdoor life in heavy rain or wet snow. With a water column level over 12 000 mm this will protect against extreme snowy conditions such as white outs and wet snow storms commonly found early on in the skiing season.

It has excellent breathability and provides warm insulation, protecting children in temperatures from 0 to -20 °C (35 to -5 °F)
